Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage artist in a few Broadway plays before breaking through to national prominence with Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. In 1957, she also made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden, a character from God's little Acre a drama film released 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively in between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber characters as contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was an accomplished television director on several series including Supernatural and The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
