Cecily Legler Strong is a well-known American stand-up comic and actor well-known as a prominent character on the show 'Saturday Night Live'. After taking an improv class at age nine, she began her acting career. The initial plan was to become an actress but soon realized that she had an aptitude for comedy. Therefore, her focus moved from acting to the improv. She began her career performing aboard cruise ships along with performers from Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. Strong performed in popular shows like Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest, and Virgin Daiquiri The female-only improv troupe.
